Kimbe Bay in the northern outer islands of Papua New Guinea is home to a wealth of diverse marine life and remarkable second world war wrecks.

The eastern side of the island of Papua showcases some of the most diverse diving on the planet, from black sand critters near coastal riverbeds, to towering schools of fish in gin clear water.  These images were taken over a series of short visits to various regions in Papua, and barely scratch the surface of Papua New Guinea's remarkable underwater world.
