Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea
Milne Bay is perhaps Papua New Guinea's most renowned diving region, best known for its black sand bays, home to a myriad of bizarre macro critters.
The eastern side of the island of Papua showcases some of the most diverse diving on the planet, from black sand critters near coastal riverbeds, to towering schools of fish in gin clear water. These images were taken over a series of short visits to various regions in Papua, and barely scratch the surface of Papua New Guinea's remarkable underwater world.
