This was just not meant to be on such a small screen......
Christopher Hamilton’s love affair with diving and the underwater world began in the cold green waters of Nova Scotia, where he spent happy years capturing shipwrecks and kelp forest scenes with his Nikonos II, before leaving Canada to travel the world. After a sojourn through Latin America, a quick visit to Australia somehow turned into a 7 year stretch which afforded the chance to explore and document the stunning northern stretches of the Great Barrier Reef. It was during the 5000 dives upon the largest reef system in the world that he converted to a digital underwater system, and cemented his addiction to warm water diving. In 2011, Chris moved to Indonesia and spent the following years traveling to the furthest recesses of Asia and the Pacific in the search of the most unique, pristine and extraordinary underwater creatures and seascapes. His work has been published by various imaging companies and journals all over the world, and he has won several photography awards.
